Researcher at the National Centre for Epidemiology Surveillance and Health Promotion (CNESPS) of the National Institute of Health (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) from 2000. Degree in Economics at the Univeristy of Milan "Bocconi", with major in Statistics and Operations Research. Master of Science in Demography and Economics at the Institute for Political Sciences in Paris and PhD in Demography, Department of Statistics and Demographic Sciences at the University of Padua. Current research activities are: developmente of statistical and epidemyological methods applied to health care studies, econimic evaluation of health care burden of diseases, in particular applied to cancer. Associate researcher at the “Institute for Research on Population and Social Policies” (IRPPS) of the National Research Council, with collaborations since 1998. Journal referee for: Annals of the Italian National Institute of Health, Annals of Oncology, Environmental Health Perspective, Health Policy, Oncotarget, Quality in Primary care, Tumori, Value in Health.

Picone (IAC). Degree in Mathematics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” , Master of Science and PhD in Statistics at the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine (University of London). Current research activities: 1. methods for the estimation of the economic impact of cancer on the national health system; 2. methods for the estimation of the prevalence of long term survivors from a childhood cancer; 3 statistical methods and modelling for the estimation of cancer prevalence. Journal referee for:  European Journal of Epidemiology, Health Care Management Science, Cancer Epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, Oncotarget

Degree in Demographics and Statistics Sciences (110/110), University of Padua, 1990. Senior statistician of Veneto Cancer Registry since April 2004. Contract professor of Statistics at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Padua from 2001 to 2005. From 2007 member of the Accreditation Commission of Italian Association of Cancer Registries (AIRTum), auditor from 2010 to 2013, from 2013 to 2016 member of the steering committee and treasurer, from 2001 teacher for annual courses organized by AIRTum. Journal referee for Epidemiologia & Prevenzione and Frontiers in Public Health. Scientific coordinator of some AIRTUM publications, coauthor of 75 papers published in peer-reviewed journals and 52 abstracts presented at Scientific conferences.
